Sidestepping the beef, Tip denied seeing the video that depicted an animated Rick Ross cuffing and then interrogating him. “I haven’t seen it but, we all know dude,” he said of Fif. “We all know his intentions, we all know his motives. We’ve seen this too many times before. You know, I play chess, not checkers, you dig? I ain’t even trippin’ off of that. Flo Rida: I had a sister pass away, that definitely was a struggle for myself. At the same time, just tryin’ to get the finances to support my studio habits, just tryin’ to survive. A lot of times, you have to support yourself with a nine to five; I really didn’t have that, so I was out sellin’ CDs, mixtapes and things like that, not knowin’ where the next meal would come from. Things like that are definitely a struggle that I’ve been through.

As reported this past weekend [click to read],Sha Money XL's One Stop Shop Producer Conference is about to take place for the third year during a weekend in Phoenix, Arizona. While at this conference, hundreds of producers are involved in the event that has producer panels, a two day beat battle and more.
"This year I took requests from my site to see just who the public wanted present at the 2009 One Stop Shop," Sha explained in a statement.
"The most feedback received from the people, is that they want more chances to play there music, they want one on one attention, and we plan to do that this year, it's going to be more interactive, more surprise battles, and spotlights."
Chris Lighty, Bryan Leach and DTP's Chaka Zulu are set to be a part of a new panel called "The Power Play Panel."
This year's event will include panels with other big named producers like Polow Da Don, Pete Rock, Just Blaze, Jim Jonsin, Drumma Boy, Ron Browz and DJ Khalil.
The One Stop Shop is set to take place May 9-May 10 in 2009 at The Hyatt Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona.

Complex: You have three of the best young R&B artists in the game on this tape, but fewer up and coming MCs. Are you as cool with the new generation of rappers? Were you upset that you weren’t on the XXL Freshman 10 cover?
Drake: I’m actually very grateful I wasn’t on that cover, to be honest. I feel like everybody that was on there deserved to be on there; I’m a fan of a lot of those guys. I just think I have a different path, a different story to tell. To be put in that group is a like a gift and a curse. So to be the one guy that wasn’t on there that everyone talks about or should have been in there is kind of a good thing. It kind of creates a little bit of fun tension. I like getting my own thoughts out right now, I have fans to solidify, so that’s why I don’t do tracks with too many younger rappers or newer artists. People may consider me to be a music snob or whatever, but I like to preserve what’s mine and I also don’t just do tracks to do tracks, I make every song with a purpose. But… me and Wale are real close friends, we talk a lot, man. I listen to Kid Cudi’s shit all the time. Chuck Inglish from the Cool Kids hit me up and was giving me all the compliments in the world—we’re real cool.

In A recent blog post, Kid Cudi decided to clear up some of the rumors and misconceptions about what happened at a recent Reebok event during All Star Weekend. Allegedly Kid Cudi had got into a scuffle with the Reebok Staff because he wanted to wear Air Jordan's instead of Reebok's, as a result Cudi was allegedy tasered and arrested. But As we know, there is two sides to every story, here is his:

0 Kanye West Says 'Best Hip-Hop Beats Of All Time' Will Be On Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3

...Another Jay-Z song leaked online last month — that's OK, just make some more. Kanye West says he's just a handful of records away from finishing Jay's The Blueprint 3, again.
"I finished his album and he released four songs that were potentially gonna be on the album," West said last week on Sway and King Tech's "Wake Up Show." "So I gotta go back and do four. I just did one beat the other day in Hawaii — probably one of the best hip-hop beats of all time, if I do say so myself. I just gotta do three more beats and we're done, 'cause he's got classics. He's got songs that are better than any of the things you've heard leaked."
Two records that Kanye says should make B3's final cut are "Everyday a Star is Born" and "Forever Young."
"You know what it was — every year I do two albums' worth of really dope beats," he explained. "This year, Common did his album with Pharrell, and I did 808s & Heartbreak and Blueprint 3. So just imagine the caliber of beats on the last two Common albums I did — Jay-Z has those types of beats. Those caliber of beats. A beat like 'The People,' that's the highest caliber of beat."
