March 12th, 2011, Atlanta: 60 Days ago we (SMKA, Young Scolla & Fab 5 Ent.) launched a Kickstarter Campaign to raise money to produce a high quality album with Detroit artist Young Scolla. With the music industry is currently doing back-flips to sell albums, and the fact is very few albums actually re-coup their initial investment (not because people don’t like the music, but because people want music for free and I can’t blame them) so we thought it would be best if we reached out to friends and fans to help support, and fund a project. If there was demand for it, then we would create it. Turns out there was demand for it... 121 ppl donated $4,549 over 60 days.
