0 Bill Clinton Speaks On Lil Wayne Getting Of Prison + George Bush FINALLY Responds To Kanye West's Comments (Audio)

In recognition of the political events taking place this week, it's only right a couple of former American Presidents speak on hip-hop artists. First, with Lil Wayne expected to be released from jail in about 24 hours, former President Bill Cinton recently expressed his excitement for Weezy's return to the rap game during an interview on Pittsburgh's 96.1 radio station. You can listen to what he had to say in the clip above.

Secondly, 5 years after the fact, George Bush recently made an appearance on NBC's "Matt Lauer Reports" and below is the response he gave when asked how he felt about Kanye West's comments about him during Hurricane Katrina:

“He called me a racist,” Bush tells Lauer. “And I didn’t appreciate it then. I don’t appreciate it now. It’s one thing to say, ‘I don’t appreciate the way he’s handled his business.’ It’s another thing to say, ‘This man’s a racist.’ I resent it, it’s not true.”
